The renaissance painting above, Botticelli’s famous Primavera, exudes everything our retreat will be about, harnessing the Cosmic Spirit that surrounds us through the practice of astrology. The alchemy and magic depicted in this painting is the inspiration for this retreat from the opening ceremony to the culmination at the Venus Star Point on Sunday.

Venus: The Magic of the Cosmos Retreat
For this retreat, we have curated a magical program that will take us on a journey deep into all things Venus and what she represents to us. From this fully immersive experience we will emerge with a renewed sense of love for self, for life and for others with a greater trust in the use of astrology and its cosmic alchemy.
For those who have been to a C*I*A Retreat before, you know that our retreats are not just a great time away, but also a profound experience that will leave you refreshed, transformed, full of light and a renewed cosmic spirit !
Suitable for all levels of astrology from beginners to advanced. All sessions will give you the tools you need to connect and integrate Venus and her sacred gifts!
Our wonderful crew invites you to join them for this magical experience. Our key facilitators and presenters are Melbourne’s key C*I*A Agents all professional astrologers, teachers and practitioners. Julija Simas, Olga Morales, Deborah James, Susan Alexopoulos and our masterchef Peta Santos.
Our special guest this year is Agent 144 Alex Trenoweth from the UK , co-editor of C*I*A’s Timelords magazine.
We are currently adding her to our extensive astro program, for more choices between beginner, intermediate to advanced sessions. Nicky Allison our agent herbalist and naturopath will be joining us for tincture making and planetary magic timing on Friday. Also on Friday afternoon, between our art sessions a special gift to all our attendees, energy healer Petrina Harrold will weave some healing magic to help us realign our energy fields.
We are all very much looking forward to hosting you for our next event as our last Retreat was back in Oct 2018, in UKI, NSW, that will be 4 years ago by the time of our Venus retreat, half a Venus cycle. Since then, 2 retreats had to cancelled due to COVID and travel restrictions!

As part of this retreat we also offer you a morning yoga practice with Suzi Alexopoulos. Start the day with mantra , meditation , breath work and gentle embodied movement, to help ground you in your body, connect to the senses and integrate your Venus.

MEET the CREW
Agent 12 – Julija Simas is the founder, motivator and designer behind the CIA, the Cosmic Intelligence Agency. Completing a Diploma in applied astrology from “Astrosynthesis”- Melbourne. Julija wrote her finishing thesis Astrology and the ANIMA MUNDI in 2005, which inspired her to put her ideas into motion, using astrology for a co-creative purpose, raising consciousness to astrology around the globe. Julija is a practicing astrological consultant, teacher, writer, presenter and retreat organizer for the CIA. Julija has lectured at various CIA events, local workshops, online and presented at international conferences. Julija has organised 8 previous C*I*A retreats, since 2011 this will be her 9th. Deborah James – Agent 29 – A practicing astrologer for over 30 years. Shamanic Chrystal healer. Tarot reader. Past life regressionist. Creator of the The Vine of the Mystic oracle deck. Working with the symbols. I came to work with these symbols because had a dream where the symbols came to life and started talking to each other in a very playful way. The dream didn’t leave me so I began to paint them on a circular canvas to create a unique painting of the individual horoscope. A pictorial play on the symbols of the planets. Alex Trenoweth – Agent 144 – Alex is an astrological researcher and professional schoolteacher in London UK. In 2015, she was awarded “International Astrologer of the Year” by the Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology (KIA) for her ground-breaking and innovative research on Astrology and Education based on her book “Growing Pains” (The Wessex Astrologer). Since then she has spoken at astrology conferences around the world and has contributed to major magazines and publications such as Dell Horoscope, The Career Astrologer (OPA), The ISAR Journal and Kindred Spirit. From 2016, Alex has worked tirelessly in her role as Secretary General and Vice Principal of KIA to bring Western and Vedic Astrologers together for the Institute of Vedic Culture Conference in Kolkata India in 2018 which aimed to promote better understanding, scholarship and most importantly, friendship between astrologers of different cultures. In 2018, KIA awarded her with an honorary PhD for her research on “Adolescent Behaviour and Lunar Phase” and she also received an award for Oustanding Service to Astrology. Agent 33 – Olga Morales is the founder of Astrology for Gann Traders. She has been teaching and lecturing on the astrological trading methods of Wall St trader and astrologer, W.D. Gann since 2005. Agent 71 – Suzi Alexopoulos – Suzi is both a yoga practitioner and an astrologer. She first stepped onto a yoga mat 18 years ago , around the same time that she began her formal astrological study with AstroSynthesis at the Chiron Centre, Melbourne. As she traversed the seasons of life , the yoga mat has always been the place she comes back to. A place where she can integrate her experiences, feel grounded. Home base. Suzi is a facilitator in Tantric embodied and Yin yoga. In her classes she also likes to weave through a sprinkling of cosmic wisdom.But what she feels is most important, is to hold space for people.
