Keeping an Eye on the Real Sky — Part 7
By Agent 12 Julija Simas
Post eclipse season we find ourselves anticipating a few more major shifts in the coming 3 months. The move of Jupiter into Taurus, on May 17th, aligning strongly with the nodal axis, before the dragon's nodes shift back to Aries in July all the while squaring Pluto. Luckily quite a few articles in this issue to update you on these moves.
The chart for the June Solstice, shows us clearly what's in play. One of the closest aspects we find is Ceres at zero Libra squared by the Sun. We find her in the same place, she was at the Aries 2023 Ingress zero Libra, (having finished her retrograde just recently), but now opposite the Sun at zero Libra. Same again at zero Libra, playing out in a T-square with Jupiter at zero Aries at the last Capricorn Ingress 2022.
The goddess of the grain and grief and our earthy resources, is a representation of commodities and agriculture and the circulation of food. Ceres is also known as a strong advocate for democracy, the rights of the people. Ceres at this cardinal point for these 3 cardinal ingresses, shows up what we have been experiencing of late. The cost of food and energy resources has been escalating big time over the past few months. Around the world there has been an incredible rise and use of foodbanks as the amount of families relying on their support greatly increases. It's not what you hear on the nightly news, as all kinds of excuses keep coming in on the state of the economy and inflation rights. Let's see if prices stabilise after Ceres moves off from this cardinal Ingress potency. With Jupiter in Taurus, we will probably see an accentuation of what has already been going on, before a more settled and stabilised economy later in the year.
Another great shift happening is the dwarf planet Sedna moving to Gemini, as she has such a large cycle there is much to comprehend and research about tracking her. With an 11,400 year eccentric orbit, looking back at the last time in Gemini, we go back to 10,000 BC. As a representation of the depths and far reaches of our frozen solar system, I trust as she comes up for AIR the sea goddess will no doubt open us up to much more information and many new discoveries, on lost civilisations and the past time way back then.
Following in July is the shift of the Nodal axis on July 18th, to Aries and Libra, with Mars taking over as the ruler of the North Node and Venus the South Node, reversing their roles so to speak. More dramatic actions move things forward over the next 18th months, taking us through to Jan 2025. Using the True Node gives the effect of an oscillating and pulsing energy at the nodes.
- The nodal axis moves through the 360° of the
zodiac every 18.6 years - The nodal axis transits through one sign every
18.6 months - On average the Lunar Nodes retrograde one
degree every 18.6 days
Look back at December 2004 and mid 2005 when this axis last transited a particular area of your chart and life. The C*I*A born into this cycle with NN at 14° Aries close by Moon at 17°and Eris! Another reason we call ourselves Agents of Chaos!
The planet to watch now and in coming months is Venus. Make sure to keep watch and track her turning points in your chart. Venus reaches her greatest elongation from the Sun on June 4th. Her brightest phase will be a few weeks later around July 7th at 24° Leo. For a more detailed look at this cycle check out my SKY SPY column for MAY and NOV 2022 issues.
Her brightest phase heralds her re-crowning as Queen of the Night, especially if you have been following the MoonGates, when the waxing Moon comes past every month. The waxing Moon bringing her out fo the underworld disappearance last October at the Star Point Libra. At the retrograde she comes down to earth to complete the intended mission. Remember?
On 21st July, as the Moon passes Venus the Moon will also be OOB so will appear to be far away. But at the same time Mars and Venus will be cozying up in the same declination, but never quite making it to touch by degree, as Venus begins stationing for her retrograde. It's like a great cosmic tease, they nearly touch each other but are pulled away. Remember they are again the rulers of the nodal axis too. This may indicate something in life that one desires, or is creating getting very close, but will take the retrograde coming to sort out and get further refined, to get going again in later months.
Venus rx begins at 28° 36’ Leo 23rd July Disappears from light at 23° Leo on Aug 8th Leo Sun Star point 20° 29’ Leo
It's quite the retrograde coming up, as the retrograde phase begins inconjunct Pluto, peaks square Uranus, then finishes square to Jupiter. It's quite a challenging earthly pass. See charts on next page. Remember 4 years ago and 8 years ago when this star point also kicked in for you at around 21- 23° Leo? How are they connecting in your chart this time?
I will be hosting a series of 3 classes, 2 hours each, beginning August 16/17th during the retrograde, all about The Venus Phases. I will be teaching how to track her cycle over 19 months. Learn all about her phases and Moon Gates. In doing so you will find your Venus phase and learn to track your ongoing Heroine's journey, also by transit and progression. There is much more to Venus than just sign, house and aspect. I have not done a class like this online before, only at workshops at retreats and conferences and am excited to bring this class to all who want to dive in and find out more about the teachings of the Venus Cycle. Stay tuned to receive updates
May your journey forward over coming months be blessed and rewarding!
