Whip out your sword and shield and jump on the nearest chariot and head towards the ocean, because the God of War, Marches you into a month of changes so grand that what you start now may not reach FRUITION UNTIL SEPTEMBER.

Besides the ingress into Aries, and the incredibly influential aspects with Jupiter and Saturn, March brings us a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse aimed at helping us to align our intuitive senses with the empirical practices that underline the potential for shifting our wildest dreams from a world of flakey fantasy into quantifiable and tangible reality.

Mercury and Venus move into Pisces on March 6th and 12th respectively, bringing us limitless potential for connecting communication with our passions around ethics, love and romance while Mars moves into Sagittarius kicking our physical potential into high gear. Later on in the month, The Sun and Mercury will both move into the pioneering, action oriented sign of leadership, Aries, ushering in the potent change of seasons right as Saturn joins Jupiter in Retrograde.

Thankfully we start the month with a friendly sextile aspect between Venus in Aquarius with Saturn in Sagittarius at 15 54’41” encouraging you to explore the freedom to be your unique and authentic self. The ethical and loyal influence of Venus in Aquarius accentuating Saturn in Sagittarius’ continual struggle between personal sovereignty and freedom versus the collective social obligations demanded by every society. This soft aspect is just the cushion we need before The Sun in Pisces opposes Jupiter in Virgo encouraging us dance with the strong energies that are released during oppositions so that we may learn to better integrate situations that create subversive separations. Surfing through this kind of cosmic weather often bestows us with awareness and enlightenment.

06:00:52 UT - Mercury (9 pi 55'25 06:00:52 UT – Mercury (9 pi 55’25”) conjunct Neptune (9 pi 55’25”)
GET READY FOR A SIZZLING SEASON OF COMMUNICATION AND PASSION IN THE WORLD OF LOVE!

Since the last quarter of the moon is seen as the beginning of the “banishing” stage of the cleansing of the upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse, don’t be surprised by any collective cultural shifts that are a direct result of the individual personal spikes of growth that we began in September of 2015. People will likely be offloading their personal issues at your feet if they are  close to you or you might catch a random bullet from a sarcastic sniper’s verbal shotgun. This may seem a bit tough while we all try to navigate the waves of our personal oceans of emotions this Pisces season. On a global and collective scale, This may feel like we are individual butterflies sitting within our own cosmic chrysalis waiting to break free and reclaim healing through freedom and sovereignty from a world order that needs to be held accountable to the citizens of mother earth.

How will you use the momentum of your escape from your cosmic chrysalis this month? How will you use the momentum of your escape from your cosmic chrysalis this month?

With Neptune, Chiron and the south lunar node all in Pisces, there is so much healing happening socially, emotionally and politically in the world that things can easily be mischaracterized as being bleak. Since Mars has been in Scorpio since January 2016, there has been a Plutonian “non-negotiable,” push towards facing all challenges with intensity and tenacity. With Mars’ direct and driving force, often failures are merely the seeds of transcendence that always blossom into success while underscoring healing.

]Conscious awareness is the source of our healing…Only when you say the truth can the truth set you free. This is not a negative process, but at times it is a difficult process. ~ Marianne Williamson, Cancer with Scorpio/Mars/Puto Decan. Mars retrogrades back to Scorpio in Tropical Astrology on May 27, 2016Conscious awareness is the source of our healing…Only when you say the truth can the truth set you free. This is not a negative process, but at times it is a difficult process.
~ Marianne Williamson, Cancer with Scorpio/Mars/Pluto Decan. Mars retrogrades back to Scorpio in Tropical Astrology on May 27, 2016

Healing is often adjacent to change and for change to occur the cosmos often has to move things out of your life to make space for great things to come. Look at it as making a great batch of cookies or really good bread, you need lots of space, time and patience as your ingredients. No matter how you slice up that bread, timing will make the difference between a delicious culinary delight or remedially burnt toast. Understanding such key processes will help you to rise up to any challenge.

Mars will enter Sagittarius on March 6, 2016 where it will frolic freely until May 27th when it retrogrades back into Scorpio. Yes, in mid April, Mars, Mercury and Pluto will all go into their retrograde cycle. Mars’ energy throughout March will be reminding us all of the value and cost of experience. It will be a referendum on patience as you will see many of the same themes play out as Mars traverses back over Sagittarius and Scorpio, one of its home signs, where it will stay until August 2nd. Mars starts his trek through Sagittarius just two days before the New Moon Solar Eclipse at 18 degrees 55 Pisces at during the second decan of Pisces creating a sensitive climate in which we all take  events more personally than we should.

Why so personally? Decan Two (2) of Pisces is ruled over by Cancer and the Moon. The fact that 18 also happens to be the ether card for the Moon and Pisces in the Tarot adds an emphasis on imagination, intuition and everything regarding the psychic part of existence that math and engineering has not been able to successfully explain through rationalization. Each New Moon is a great re-boot or new beginning for us all, however, New Moons that fall on an eclipse also are initiation points for change that endure up through the next New Moon which ends the semester (when referring to an eclipse cycle a semester is defined as, “half a lunar year”) in September. The New Moon Falls in the seventh house for those of us in California and the 10th house for my Southern Hemisphere family in Melbourne.

The full moon in Libra will give us all the opportunity to gain insight, make up our minds and make tough choices. This moon will be about recognizing that all choices, positive and negative, yield the evolution we need in life provided that our attitude pushes us to continue to do our best. While many people may have seemed aloof and disconnected at the beginning of the month, Libra’s focus on balance will create the opportunity to finesse all of the rough edges that we created while swimming in Pisces’ world of Neptunian Navigation.  The Sun and Mercury will make a brief but powerful conjunction at 3º Aries emphasizing the critical connection between our drive and will along with the ability to communicate in way that rallies support and stimulates reciprocal ideas. Some people may look lost at the beginning of March, but if you take another temperature reading after the Lunar Eclipse, you will see many people on the precipice of a breakthrough.

Pisces, The Alpha and the omega. The Beginning and the end. The culmination of knowledge, wisdom and consciousness brings us healing through limitless imagination and creativity. Pisces, The Alpha and the omega. The Beginning and the end. The culmination of knowledge, wisdom and consciousness brings us healing through limitless imagination and creativity.

As Saturn returns to its retrograde cycle on March 25, Venus will oppose Jupiter and square Saturn right before the moon goes into Scorpio setting up March to end on the very intense note that it began upon. What is the big difference? With all that Mars in Scorpio and then Sagittarius energy, you will get a lot accomplished even though you may feel incredibly frazzled at times. Sure, the sun in Aries will trine with Mars in Sagittarius and Venus in Pisces will sextile with Pluto in Capricorn to create more functional healing amidst the chaos, but Uranus in Aries will be popping up like a jack-in-the box on a slingshot that has been cranked taut too many times. Am I mentioning this to frighten you? No! Remember that the most powerful aspects always bring the opportunity to re-direct the energy and make it work for you. The only trick is to stay calm and in control knowing that whichever challenge arises you will meet it. Even if that means you need to pick yourself up and try again.
Venus conjoins Chiron at 22 Pisces 11’ channeling our passions through the desire to heal and be happy. So do not listen to any of the competitively cold, sterile and socially hegemonic rhetoric that may be inspired by the square between Mercury in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. All authorities and authority figures will be turning up the cold as we enter April, but the petulant energies of Uranus in Aries doesn’t care about your old world order or your new one and will make an appearance just to remind us that all situations in life or transitory. Your only real option is to become a master of change and flexibility if you truly expect to attain success and keep your sanity.

How will you mindfully move through March with your sanity intact?
1The more we use words that in any way imply criticism, the more difficult it is for people to stay connected to the beauty within themselves.
2Never question the beauty of what you are saying because someone reacts with pain, judgment, criticism. It just means they have not heard you.
3Use the words “I feel because I” to remind us that what we feel it isn’t because of what the other person did, but because of a choice I’ve made.
4NVC shows us a way of being very honest, but without any criticism, insults, or putdowns, and without any intellectual diagnosis implying wrongness.
5Once you have access to key people in an organization, if you go into a meeting with enemy images of those people – then you are not going to connect.
6We recognize that real educational reform is essential if today’s and tomorrow’s children are to live in a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world.
7I believe that the most joyful and intrinsic motivation human beings have for taking any action is the desire to meet our needs and the needs of others.
8My need is for safety, fun and to have distribution of resources, a sustainable life on the planet. NVC is a strategy that serves me to meet these needs.
9My ultimate goal is to spend as many of my moments in life as I can in that world that the poet Rumi talks about, ‘a place beyond rightness and wrongness.’
10Four D’s of Disconnection: 1. Diagnosis (judgment, analysis, criticism, comparison); 2. Denial of Responsibility; 3. Demand; 4. ‘Deserve’ oriented language.
11Time and again, people transcend the paralyzing effects of psychological pain when they have sufficient contact with someone who can hear them empathically.
HOW WILL YOU CHOOSE DISCIPLINE OVER DISCORD?
“Make peace with silence, and remind yourself that it is in this space that you'll come to remember your spirit. When you're able to transcend an aversion to silence, you'll also transcend many other miseries. And it is in this silence that the remembrance of God will be activated.” ~ Wayne W. Dyer

Namaste and many gratitudes for your wisdom. I’ve been practicing NVC for many years and it was refreshing to see your references to it. I also enjoyed the astrological indicators for this month. It is helpful to be able to remain flexible, present, mindful when change is so dramatically surrounding me. I continue to remember to “breathe” and be silent to hear messages from Spirit. It is a journey. ☮☯
