If you have mastered transits and the moving of planets around your astrology chart, the next step is learning how to use progressions. Progressions are a time system that replicates the day for a year formula. For instance, if you are 55 years old, your progressed chart will indicate your chart as if you were 55 days old, with all your natal planets having moved as it it were 55 days later. This symbolic time system is used to predict certain periods and life changes on a microcosmic level, and are used as an adjunct to Transits and Solar Arc directions to deepen the understanding of one's evolutionary growth and life cycles.
