If it appears that this is an especially significant time for humanity, it could be due to the fact that Pluto has been hovering around it’s own South Node since early 2016 and is nearing exactitude. Similar to the lunar nodes, the planetary nodes reveal the arc of evolution of the planet and its connection to the deep past (South Node) and future orientation (North Node).
