In The Spotlight: Mars In Leo, 11 June to 29 July, 2021

Fire signs get the most of Mars in Leo, so Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius should get ready to make the most of it. Air signs also benefit, although Aquarius has about equal odds of finding a fiery partner or an ardent opponent. Water signs have a tougher time of it. Cancer can focus on finances – but crabs may just be happy to have the warrior out of their house. Scorpio might feel pressure in career,

Up On the Ramparts: Mars In Cancer, 23 April – 11 June, 2021

Give Mars a task, and he’s happy. The god of war likes to have something to do, and he’s content to play offense or defense... generally. In the Moon’s home sign of Cancer, the vibe is a little too protective and security-oriented for Mars’ taste, yet not as overtly reactive as his second home, Scorpio. In Scorpio, Mars can shoot arrows from the castle turrets or operate the catapults. In Cancer,

You Don’t Say: Mars in Gemini, 3 March to 23 April, 2021

Cosmic Warrior Mars strides into Gemini on March 3rd, staying until the third week in April. In Mercury’s home sign, Mars gets a lot accomplished through verbalizing rather that physical action, but the somewhat flexible – not to say duplicitous – nature of Gemini isn’t necessarily what you want for your armed combatants. While there’s some tension in the skies towards the end of Mars visit with the twins, generally harmonious aspects prevail. That’s not to say things will be quiet, but we have the opportunity to work out issues that are already on the table.

Counterpoint: Mars in Taurus 6 January – 3 March, 2021

After an extended stay in his home sign of Aries, Mars moves into Taurus on 6 January, staying until 3 March. In the sign of the bull, Mars shows his more sexual side, and he also helps us to put our plans into action in concrete ways. It’s a good time for building, but also for pruning (literally and figuratively).

The Fractal Nature of Astrology with the Venus Star

As seekers of astrological wisdom we are often confronted by the bigger questions of why does astrology work. We know it works, we see it working in our lives and in our clients lives, in the world around us and in so many varied and profoundly interesting ways, yet it is hard to define exactly how or why it works, as not one single explanation will ever suffice. Something that has helped enlighten my journey of astrological understanding, of why the patterns and cycles of the planets continue to coincide with our lives, is the understanding of astrology as a dynamic fractal like system, set off at birth with its own unique formula and conditions, that then continues to unfurl and unfold as a never ending fractal like pattern of growth.

Election Day USA- considerations - 2016 vs 2020

Election Day USA - considerations - 2016 vs 2020 - A few things to consider looking at back 2016 USA election day transits and those for 2020 ( just using Noon Charts and zero Aries, only noting conjunctions, squares, oppositions and significant trines) It's interesting to see that quite a few things are opposite what they were in 2016. By comparing the 2 charts and what all the planets are and were doing, and how they aspect the natal charts of candidates, I see quite clearly a reversal of fortune, of what transpired 4 years ago.

ENTER 2020: Stepping Forward by Learning from the Past

2020  marks the opening of a new world era signified by rare outer planetary alignments. It is a significant year that  requires a new set of rules and assumptions about time and reality along with new approaches to leadership, governance, care for the environment and serious visions for the future. 2020 presents a turning point where the implications of ‘modern living’ have become very real and personal. On a socio-political level, it signifies the peak of autocratic rule while a shift to movements that support the common good will increasingly gain importance by the end of 2020.

The Great Planetary Cycles of 2020 and
Your Personal Well-being

The Great Planetary Cycles of 2020 and Your Personal Well-beingDuring January until December 2020 we will experience the very rare triple conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. This not only marks the beginning of three new cycles but also their endings. On January 12, 2020 Saturn and Pluto will make their exact conjunction in Capricorn, while Jupiter and Pluto will meet three times during April and November in the ambitious and conservative sign of the Mountain Goat. However, Jupiter and Saturn will move into innovative Aquarius before they make their conjunction on December 21st 2020, the time of our summer solstice.

Re-Claiming the Fish: Saturn and Capricorn in the Age of Aquarius.

In Astrology, the sign of Capricorn is said to be a feminine sign, and both the sign and it’s ruler are represented by the sea-goat which is a creature of impossibility with the front half of a goat and the tail of a fish.  Over millennia of Patriarchal rule and conditioning the planet and sign has lost it’s yin qualities with the sea-goat becoming a goat alone much of the time and Saturn and Capricorn being said to represent the Father amongst other things. Saturn and Capricorn have been spoken of in Astrology as harsh, cold and unloving and this article challenges that as being a reflection of the patriarchy itself.

A CRUCIAL GATHERING: KETU, SATURN AND PLUTO IN CAPRICORN

Ketu (the transiting lunar south node) entered Capricorn in November 2018. It met Pluto late December 2018 and will join Saturn early March 2019. This leads to a Ketu, Pluto, and Saturn conjunction, active from March to September 2019. This particular astrological event may bring tangible consequences.  Inseparable from philosophy and the meaning of life, astrology illustrates how our lives and destinies--terms that refer both to usage and destination--tend toward a finality, or self-realization unconnected to wealth, power, or fame

Mercury TRANSIT November 11th, 2019

On Monday, 2019 November 11, Mercury will transit the Sun for the first time since 2016. The transit or eclipse of a planet across the face of the Sun is a relatively rare occurrence. As seen from Earth, only transits of Mercury and Venus are possible. There are approximately 13 transits of Mercury each century. In comparison, transits of Venus occur in pairs with more than a century separating each pair. • ‘Transit of Mercury’ – or Mercury moving over the face of the Sun (eclipsing)– always when Mercury is retrograde • Occurs on Nov 11th 2019 @ 19 degrees Scorpio - takes around 7 hours to pass by the Sun • Always on Taurus/Scorpio axis – last one in 2016 was in Taurus – previous 2006 in Scorpio.   It occurs because Mercury and the Sun line up, syzygy like an eclipse at the North Node of Mercury(Mercury's crossing point wth the ecliptic, Sun's path. • Next one not until Nov 13th 2032!

The next Venus Star Loop - Scorpio, Leo, Gemini
 - October 2018 - June 2020

The next 584 day, 19 mth, 1.6 year synodic* cycle, Venus’ next round of the Sun, begins as the current one ends with the interior retrograde conjunction at 3°06’ Scorpio on 26th October UTC. It then peaks midpoint in its cycle at 21° Leo  on Aug 14th,  2019 at the direct exterior conjunction, before Venus swings back down to earth for the next end and begining at 14° Gemini on June 4th, 2020 for the next retrograde interior conjunction. . In her never ending 5 pointed cycle, Venus, who acts somewhat like a Cosmic Bee, is set to pollinate her next Star points, her inner and outer conjunctions with the Sun, inner being the retrograde conjunctions with the Sun, and outer being when she transits on the other side of the Sun, opposite to Earth.

Chiron in Aries - April 2018 - April 2027

On April 17th 2018, at approximately 9.30am GMT Chiron moves from the ethereal and indefinite waters of Pisces, to begin a new Astrological Cycle in the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries, where it will remain until April 2027. Taking Fifty years to complete a full cycle of the horoscope, Chiron, maverick wanderer of our solar system, has been identified since his discovery with the archetype of the wounded healer.

Renewed Earth - Uranus in Taurus - 2018/2019 until July 2025

Uranus enters Taurus May 2018 until July 2025 …for first time in 84 years! Time for a New Earth When this revolutionary change agent comes calling to each sign every seven years we experience an upgrade in the affairs of the sign, in this case Taurus, with far reaching implications.  His rulership over science and technology, plus human rights movements assures us of radical departures from existing conditions across the board. As he is the key player in our unfolding revolution, his entrance into Taurus for the first time since 1934 in his 84 year cycle is hugely significant.  Our Sky God is about to come down to earth to revolutionize our ecological systems with a wave of amazing inventions and groups of people who will clean up our world over the next 7 years.  He’s also about to freshen up, to put it mildly, existing financial values and systems.

What is your Moon Phase?

The Moon Phase that you were born under says a great deal about the dynamic of your life, the general energetic direction with which you approach things and the script that you are working with. Although seemingly a small thing, it often represents a thread which can permeate your entire life, and is often backed up by other aspects and themes in the natal chart.

"Rage Against The Dying Of The Light" Chiron Returns - Part I

The Chiron Return happens to us all at the age of around fifty, a deeply emotional transit where we find ourselves standing at the threshold between life and death, a liminal place between the worlds. It is there that we are faced with the spectral shades of all that has gone before, and witness them as they blend and dance, merge and become indistinct in the face of the enveloping darkness of the unknown that lies ahead. Although it is widely accepted that 'nothing is certain, apart from death & taxes', like Janus, the "Chironian" looks both forwards and back,

Tuning into the Zeitgeist - the Pluto Uranus Cycle, Eris, Chaos and Discord!

The exact squares of Pluto and Uranus are over, but 2017 still has Uranus and Pluto squaring with 3 degree orb, joined by an opposition and square to Jupiter with Eris also in the line up! A review of the Pluto Uranus squares and their connection to Eris, awakening all generations born with Eris in Aries(every one born Post 1922 has Eris in Aries) during these cardinal squares and T-squares is still as relevant as it was in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 when we anticipated the chaos and disruption we find our selves in now. 2020 Vision, is what's needed at this time.

The Leo Aquarius Lunar Nodes – Destiny in our hands, hearts, and brains.

With Jupiter moving to Scorpio in October 2017, and Mars travelling through a retrograde cycle for almost 6 months in Aquarius in the course of 2018, and lastly Uranus moving into Taurus by May 2018, we see a strong emphasis in Fixed signs. Subsequently, the following years 2019-2020 will return to the strong Cardinal flavor with heavy emphasis returning to Pluto in Capricorn.

Chiron and healing Spirit

The energy of Chiron, the healer-redeemer, is in the air. I find this a most fascinating subject when thinking of humanity and our ongoing struggle to find peace, harmony and health. Life is such a paradox of tears and ecstasy, and embodying this conflict is the story of the Centaur. Chiron was the product of a rape and abandoned by his parents he had to set out alone to find his true power, until one day he got struck by an arrow dipped in poison that kept him in excruciating pain until his release into death.

NEPTUNE: The Nemesis OR The Knight?

Like the PI in Pisces or Phi in the golden mean, Neptunian energy represents the creativity and improvisation that improve our lives like the infinite spiral of the Fibonacci Sequence or an elegant labyrinth representing our shared cosmic trek…

BLACK MOON LILITH - From the Visceral to the Sublime

The Black Moon is a virtual astrological point, which represents the lunar apogee. I will refer to it as Black Moon Lilith (BML) in this article, to differentiate it from other astrological points (such as the asteroid Lilith or the Dark Moon). The apogee is the point in the Moon’s elliptical orbit around the Earth at which it is furthest away from the Earth. It is at this position that it almost escapes, but doesn't! For it is right there that the pull of gravity shows its force, bringing the Moon back towards the Earth to continue its orbit. So here we recognize the first basic concept related to Black Moon Lilith: gravity. Isaac Newton would refer to this as a question of mass and distance.
