The Role of Astrology - Past, Present and Future

Most certainly we are on the brink, the edge, a burning off of the past, a shift not only into a new decade, but also into a new mindset and an overhauled system to follow. How quickly this will occur is hard to tell. Demanding signals have been sent to us over the course of 2019, with the building Capricorn markers, Pluto, Saturn and the South Node. We step into 2020 with a grand stellium forming, with Saturn, Pluto, Ceres, Sun and Mercury all in a hard square aspect to the Goddess of Discord and Chaos, new dwarf planet Eris. This is all happening during an eclipse season on the Capricorn and Cancer polarity, representative of our global safety and security.

The Planetary Highway to the Aquarian Age: Utopia, Dystopia and Beyond

The idea of astrological ages is based on the phenomena known as the precession of the equinoxes, whereby due to the earth’s wobble as it spins on its axis, the vernal point moves slowly backward through the zodiac constellations at a rate of one degree every seventy two years, spending approximately 2,160 years in each zodiac sign and completing a whole cycle in 25,772 years. Many Western astrologers believe that we have reached an important juncture and are about to enter a new age, the Aquarian Age, however this idea is hotly contested1. When does the vernal point actually enter the stars of Aquarius? While theories abound as to when this will happen, no-one has come up with a definitive date

Capricorn: Taking back Control - Saturn and Pluto

Saturn represents the view from the graveyard, and when Saturn, Mars and Pluto meet in Capricorn in 2020, it is time to ‘bring up the bodies’. We find ourselves in a time of disclosure and revelation, take a deep breath, the good news is, this is when collective awareness can begin to transform itself into consciousness.

SATURN IN AQUARIUS : March 22nd 2020-7th Mar 2023

Saturn will be entering into Aquarius in March 2020, retrograde back to Capricorn on 2 July and move back to Aquarius on 17 December, a few days before a new Jupiter-Saturn cycle is formed. Saturn will dip back and forth between the signs that represent the old and the new, creating a reflection on what we need to leave behind and what will be kept when we journey toward new potential.

ENTER 2020: Stepping Forward by Learning from the Past

2020  marks the opening of a new world era signified by rare outer planetary alignments. It is a significant year that  requires a new set of rules and assumptions about time and reality along with new approaches to leadership, governance, care for the environment and serious visions for the future. 2020 presents a turning point where the implications of ‘modern living’ have become very real and personal. On a socio-political level, it signifies the peak of autocratic rule while a shift to movements that support the common good will increasingly gain importance by the end of 2020.

The Great Planetary Cycles of 2020 and
Your Personal Well-being

The Great Planetary Cycles of 2020 and Your Personal Well-beingDuring January until December 2020 we will experience the very rare triple conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. This not only marks the beginning of three new cycles but also their endings. On January 12, 2020 Saturn and Pluto will make their exact conjunction in Capricorn, while Jupiter and Pluto will meet three times during April and November in the ambitious and conservative sign of the Mountain Goat. However, Jupiter and Saturn will move into innovative Aquarius before they make their conjunction on December 21st 2020, the time of our summer solstice.

Re-Claiming the Fish: Saturn and Capricorn in the Age of Aquarius.

In Astrology, the sign of Capricorn is said to be a feminine sign, and both the sign and it’s ruler are represented by the sea-goat which is a creature of impossibility with the front half of a goat and the tail of a fish.  Over millennia of Patriarchal rule and conditioning the planet and sign has lost it’s yin qualities with the sea-goat becoming a goat alone much of the time and Saturn and Capricorn being said to represent the Father amongst other things. Saturn and Capricorn have been spoken of in Astrology as harsh, cold and unloving and this article challenges that as being a reflection of the patriarchy itself.

Ketu (the transiting lunar south node) entered Capricorn in November 2018. It met Pluto late December 2018 and will join Saturn early March 2019. This leads to a Ketu, Pluto, and Saturn conjunction, active from March to September 2019. This particular astrological event may bring tangible consequences.  Inseparable from philosophy and the meaning of life, astrology illustrates how our lives and destinies--terms that refer both to usage and destination--tend toward a finality, or self-realization unconnected to wealth, power, or fame

Mercury TRANSIT November 11th, 2019

On Monday, 2019 November 11, Mercury will transit the Sun for the first time since 2016. The transit or eclipse of a planet across the face of the Sun is a relatively rare occurrence. As seen from Earth, only transits of Mercury and Venus are possible. There are approximately 13 transits of Mercury each century. In comparison, transits of Venus occur in pairs with more than a century separating each pair. • ‘Transit of Mercury’ – or Mercury moving over the face of the Sun (eclipsing)– always when Mercury is retrograde • Occurs on Nov 11th 2019 @ 19 degrees Scorpio - takes around 7 hours to pass by the Sun • Always on Taurus/Scorpio axis – last one in 2016 was in Taurus – previous 2006 in Scorpio.   It occurs because Mercury and the Sun line up, syzygy like an eclipse at the North Node of Mercury(Mercury's crossing point wth the ecliptic, Sun's path. • Next one not until Nov 13th 2032!

TRICK or TREAT: MERCURY RETROGRADE - Oct 31st - Nov 22nd - 27° - 11° Scorpio

Mercury Retrograde On October 31, Mercury comes to a standstill and begins to give us the impression it's moving backward. It's also Halloween, the day when the veil between the worlds is thin, and we can access the other side. Mercury stations retrograde on Halloween in the sign of Scorpio, a sign associated with divination, occult matters, and death and rebirth. It's no accident, Mercury, which rules our thoughts and thinking patterns, stations retrograde in Scorpio on a day that highlights Scorpio's themes. It indicates what we will consider and think about during this retrograde cycle

Neptune in Pisces - Into the Unknown

...On 4 April 2011, and February 4th 2012, the planet Neptune began its journey through Pisces, another symbolic key enhancing the shift in human consciousness slowly unfolding on our planet. Neptune has strong associations with the sign Pisces: both water energy, both belonging to a realm of the mysterious, the inspired and the imagined. Both have no boundaries, they build no barriers, and can be escapist and mystical in attitude

Africa : A Sirian portal to the Cosmos

In the words of Carl Sagan, we are 40%-star dust. It makes us think how we became 40%-star dust. Let us look with James Theodore Bent. Let’s look back in time when he was an archeologist. He found these sacred stone circles in South Africa. That’s right sacred stone circles in South Africa, and where the first humanoid was found. Our human adventure started 75,000 years ago in a place called Waterval Boven 4 hours North of Johannesburg, South Africa. In the mountains there are these stone circles, and there is a place called Adams Calendar. Why is this significant?

Pluto transiting Capricorn - The lessons for our times!

The role of astrology is not to instruct, or even advise, but to describe what fundamentally underlies our circumstances, and to point to the consequences of what we decide to do going forward. Yet good astrologers have learnt one lesson that can help decisions for the future. We know that selfish manipulation of others may work for a while, but never succeeds in the end. It just makes matters worse. So, any imminent world crisis will not be resolved by narrow economic solutions, propped up by laws and assumptions, based on greed and hatred of anyone in the way.
