☆ Our First Libra Moon at 0° a month ago was the ‘Awakening Moon’, interestingly within orb of the recently announced image of M87’s Black Hole, aligning also with Laneakia, ‘Immeasurable Heaven’ and the heart of the Galactic Super-cluster, to which our Milky Way is an integral part. Awakening to this bigger picture and our unique place in the universe can replace any small mindedness. The Sabian symbol for this Black Hole also mentions waking: ‘The dawn of a new day reveals everything changed.

The Personal Planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars:
The personal planets are on the move this month. Mercury is fresh out of retrograde but continues in Pisces to April 16. There is more clearing away to do, but as of April 2 Mercury moves on a new wave-length with Neptune, this regarding the soundscapes of the collective and also of your individual soul. Consider it also as a fresh fishing expedition for that which has alluded clarity so far, for the ultimate answer, solution or opportunity

The air positively crackles with the buzz of activity, all-the-while streaming elemental winds zap up to speed as the centre of our solar system, the Sun, reaches its’ all-important turning point, 0° Aries. At the same time, the ‘Full Awakening SuperMoon’ creates a powerful interaction between Sun, Moon and Earth, opening the way for the ‘Light of Life’ itself to energise our heart-mind and body, and quickly fire-up our own stamina and strength, too.

The spring equinox coincides with a full moon at 0 degree of Libra, Venus in Aquarius turning a corner with Mars in Taurus (last quarter square aspect) while Mars is trine Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury retrograde is on productive/creative opportunity track with Saturn (crescent sextile). As I have gathered from the weather reports (at least locally) we are in for an abrupt change of season.

This Supermoon spotlights collective undercurrents as well as personal welfare and happiness – especially at work. As the sign of the Fish is an all-consuming, all embracing collective sign, it’s possible many will also intuit the imperative (Virgoan) need to heal underlying toxic turmoil. Pisces can be easily lost in artistic creativity (or by hypnotised manipulation) and tends to spill-out, leaving the environmentally aware and pragmatic Virgo to mop-up the mess. In any event, if it all gets too much then this Full SuperMoon will provide the opportunity to fill your life with meaningful activity, be of service and dedicate karmic merit to the benefit of others.

Elemental New Year, Feb 4th
with a New Aquarius Moon,
Time to now to wave goodbye the year of the loyal Earth Dog, not be seen again for another 60 years. And ‘Hello’ to the New Year of the productive Yellow Earth Boar 4-5th February, and the start of a year that highlights steadfast patience, fertility, and the potential for great tranquillity.

February 5: Chinese New Year of Earth Pig (Boar): New Moon 1:04 pm (15:45 Aquarius)
February 19: Full Moon supermoon: 7:54 am (0:42 Virgo)

Culminating with grand celestial titles that make it a class act Full Moon, this first Full Moon of 2019 is also first in a series of three Full Supermoons, where the ‘Supermoon’ closest to the Earth can even look bigger than normal (though Feb’s Full Moon is closer still); furthermore, this Full Moon is a Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse!
Emotions run deep during eclipses; everything could seem extra buzzy. With Earth’s orbit directly crossing between Sun and Moon, Earth blocks the Moon reflecting Sol’s Light. Instead, for one hour and one minute of totality, ‘Earthshine’ creates coppery-rust-red Moonlight for those in the America’s with a clear sky.

2019 is front loaded! Mars is freshly fired up in Aries. There are battles to be fought and wars to wager, this regarding our personal and individual lives, as well as at the world at large (ethical, moral, social, political, economic, geophysical/survival of the planet). Through the middle of February, Mars will keep on the fast and ready trigger. Mars in Aries trigger dates: January 8, 21, 25; February 1, 12)

The Solstice Full Moon in Cancer tenders family gatherings in a cosy Christmas hideaway, somewhere with people you feel relaxed and safe enough to drop your guard to scintillate and shine. As the Full Moon rises, the season’s also change into winter in the north, summer in the south. And the Solstice Sun now comes to a wondrous ‘stand still’ for three days rising and setting in the same place before again shifting emphasis of light, for nights to become shorter in the north, longer in the south. So we, too, tend to wind down for a few days to catch up with thoughts and loved ones, before light returns (in the north) Dec 24th-25th.
