As seekers of astrological wisdom we are often confronted by the bigger questions of why does astrology work. We know it works, we see it working in our lives and in our clients lives, in the world around us and in so many varied and profoundly interesting ways, yet it is hard to define exactly how or why it works, as not one single explanation will ever suffice. Something that has helped enlighten my journey of astrological understanding, of why the patterns and cycles of the planets continue to coincide with our lives, is the understanding of astrology as a dynamic fractal like system, set off at birth with its own unique formula and conditions, that then continues to unfurl and unfold as a never ending fractal like pattern of growth.

Saturn at the Galactic Centre during 2017 makes the times we are living in ever more more interesting. As a relatively new area of exploration and a new concept for astrologers, after exploring the images and the symbols of such a potent energy and planets in this area in the past, I can certainly see merit in using The Galactic Centre as a representation of not only being pulled into something larger than life, but also as a conduit to a great symbol of a most creative force in that exists in oneself and in our collective destiny.

From Bridging Realities An Accessible Astrology Podcast  – Eugenia Krok talks with Julija Simas , on working with Venus and the Venus Star and cycle in astrology charts!

After her maximum elongation from the Sun, post retrograde, as a morning star , Venus begins the next stage of her evolutionary cycle. From the emergent phase of youth, and the stability of her maximum elongation,

The exact squares of Pluto and Uranus are over, but 2017 still has Uranus and Pluto squaring with 3 degree orb, joined by an opposition and square to Jupiter with Eris also in the line up!
A review of the Pluto Uranus squares and their connection to Eris, awakening all generations born with Eris in Aries(every one born Post 1922 has Eris in Aries) during these cardinal squares and T-squares is still as relevant as it was in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 when we anticipated the chaos and disruption we find our selves in now.
2020 Vision, is what’s needed at this time.

There is much more in the world that unifies us than separates us, as the ripples of uncertainty radiate across the globe, yet at certain times of the year we can look to our universal light, the Sun for clarity, guidance and meaning. The Sun God in ancient Greek times, Apollo, was a God of prophecy and healing, an oracle and as the son of Zeus, truth. In astrology the light of the Sun is the most significant symbol of any astrological chart, it is the centre and the core of all astrological readings. So as the Sun appears to reach its furthest stretch into the Northern hemisphere (remember “Appears to”, as we our Earth is the one that is turning and tilting on its axis) we have one of the major turning points(tilting extremes) of the year, the June Solstice. As astrologers we call it the Cancer Ingress, when the Sun enters the sign of Cancer, one of the four cardinal points and major turning points in our astrological wheel.

Venus emerges as the morning star 29th March. Depending on where you live, your latitude on this planet and if you happen to be up before Sunrise gazing to the east on a clear morning over these few days you would see the helical rise of Venus, Venus rising as the morning star. This rise can happen anywhere between Venus being 8-13 degrees away from the Sun whilst still in her retrograde phase after the interior conjunction.

Venus and her cycle is by far the most interesting and rhythmic of all planetary cycles, besides that of the lunation cycle which is much quicker and transient, the Venus cycle is made up of 8 year, 4 year, 9.5month and 19 month cycles, which we can use to plan, incubate, create, remember and work with.
The timing of the Venus cycle. 9.5 months (plus a few days)– A conjunction with the Sun occurs every 9.5 months alternating from inferior to exterior conjunction
19 months – 1.6 years = 584 days= One synodic cycle of Venus

In this video Christina Caudill Agent 128 and Adam Somer Agent 108 riff on the significance of the September 22/23rd Equinox and the powerful galactic alignments at play. They discuss Mars at the Galactic Centre, the Sun conjunct Jupiter, navigating significant life transits, the nature of astrology and finding the vision for this next quarter.
