In Astrology, the sign of Capricorn is said to be a feminine sign, and both the sign and it’s ruler are represented by the sea-goat which is a creature of impossibility with the front half of a goat and the tail of a fish.  Over millennia of Patriarchal rule and conditioning the planet and sign has lost it’s yin qualities with the sea-goat becoming a goat alone much of the time and Saturn and Capricorn being said to represent the Father amongst other things. Saturn and Capricorn have been spoken of in Astrology as harsh, cold and unloving and this article challenges that as being a reflection of the patriarchy itself.

When the Black Moon is transiting an astrological sign, the unfinished and unresolved issues concerning the sign emerge. She even acts as an inverter of values, showing us the B side of things. Why the B side? Because Black Moon Lilith is the dimension of the Real (as conceived in Lacanian psychoanalysis), the register of the impossible, of awe, of the raw experienced at the mere level of sensation, unelaborated by images, words and meanings. There is a strangeness to the Black Moon Lilith, something which mobilizes in other ways, as it concerns the visceral undercurrent, the backdrop behind words and images.

Venus emerges as the morning star 29th March. Depending on where you live, your latitude on this planet and if you happen to be up before Sunrise gazing to the east on a clear morning over these few days you would see the helical rise of Venus, Venus rising as the morning star. This rise can happen anywhere between Venus being 8-13 degrees away from the Sun whilst still in her retrograde phase after the interior conjunction.

19 months – 1.6 years = 584 days= One synodic cycle of Venus

It starts in heaven and ends in hell. First, successfully losing weight, but soon enough losing control instead, developing an addiction to food. An estimated 70 million people worldwide[1] suffers from a serious eating disorder (ED) and many die trying to beat the fat. At the core of the ED spectrum, ranging from anorexia and bulimia to binge eating and orthorexia, we find a fascinating connection to the mythology of Earth Mother Ceres, the goddess of fertility and grain, and her daughter, the young maiden Proserpina. It is a myth of change and of natural transition
