Saturn represents the view from the graveyard, and when Saturn, Mars and Pluto meet in Capricorn in 2020, it is time to ‘bring up the bodies’. The idea of astrological ages is based on the phenomena known as the precession of the equinoxes, whereby due to the earth’s wobble as it spins on its axis, the vernal point moves slowly backward through the zodiac constellations at a rate of one degree every seventy two years, spending approximately 2,160 years in each zodiac sign and completing a whole cycle in 25,772 years. Many Western astrologers believe that we have reached an important juncture and are about to enter a new age, the Aquarian Age, however this idea is hotly contested1.
