Is it just me, but are we losing interest in social media as a whole? It’s not what it used to be, and Facebook is so focused on advertising that it is turning many of us off. I know I don’t use it as much as I used to and if I see another selfie I may crack. Uranus in Aries the era of the Selfie, – Uranus in Taurus is already looking for a more rewarding outlet.

It is interesting to see some of the transits for the return of 2019.

Uranus is heading for FB Mars, Pluto and the SNode on Chiron, Mercury and Saturn on its way.

We know they have a lot to answer for RE: social responsibilities, that they always seem to brush off as though they are working on it.
It’s an unprecedented social experiment and parts have gone wrong – whilst some parts of it have been an incredible influence for social and political awareness – like the Arab Spring momentum. Yet also being used for propaganda by politicians, winning votes by turning people against their opposition with fake news etc!
A powerful tool like no other.!

I’ve seen and noticed many people quite disturbed by not being noticed, or not getting likes and reach etc here on FB, – it has really been psychologically damaging for some – as it causes many misunderstandings and mis communications, where things are gravely misunderstood and taken out of context, by people who seem to think they have a right to tell you what to do, or how to behave, and you don’t even know them,
– Mercury /Chiron Capricorn – our social should’s, and political correctness etc and the sensitive and exalted Venus in Pisces (and do we have to know what you ate last night, trivial nonsense?) show. Of course some of it is fun, and what a time waster, really!

I’ve always loved the Sun/Neptune in Aquarius conjunction, explaining sooo much about FB’s internet origins, a fluke experiment gone viral, so to speak, and the way Facebook keeps shifting the bar, algorithms etc, we never know what is going to be next, once we think we figured it out there is something more we don’t know, or it’s impossible to find out. Their way of hiding and talking in circles when there is a problem or issue or if you need help – is extremely elusive.

Their Sun squares the nodal axis – and it seems they find it hard to define who they are and where they are going!

Facebook was born just before the 1st VENUS TRANSIT of June 2004, which occurred at 15 Gemini, trine that Sun, square Jupiter and there has never been a social experiment quite like it. Venus transits usher in new cultural perspectives, social standards and values, over their 108 -120 year cycles.
